Model Challenge 5: Ballgown

his is for  model challenge. My first model challenge entry for this group that actually counts!! So happy ^^ 
Creating the dress: Okay, so creating this dress was actually kind of interesting. I love all the detail on it, so recreating that on the doll was fun. It was very time consuming, but hey, the best dresses are. I like the middle and bottom part. Without that, the dress defiantly wouldn't be so fancy and beautiful. Detail sells. I thought the top would be more difficult, but surprisingly, it wasn't. Just added a few things here and there to touch it up, and we're good. The waist to the dress was fun, too. it was interesting how it went a little lower in the waist, before it poofed out. 
'My' opinion on the dress: As a whole, i absolutely 'love' this dress! the colors match me very very well, since gold and blue are gorgeous, and blue just so happens to be my favorite color B) I love the Russian feel to it, with the lines and the detail going down the center. It's a much more difficult version of what i did here: daughterofthehunt10.deviantart… The cape thing in the back was a challenge, and i probably should have added more detail to it, but i like the style of it. 
'Lizzy's' opinion on the dress: She hates it Blue and gold aren't necessarily her favorite colors. Lizzy mostly prefers white and black. Nothing in between. Also, she doesn't like how it feels. It's so itchy and poofy and heavy to wear. She feels like this dress belongs to some sort of gym with how much of an exercise she gets from wearing it. Plus it pokes her skin and makes her itch so much. Not to mention She's boiling up a sweat. I don't think she'd ever wear something like this. Se feels more like someone's dress-up toy then she did in the barbie dress. It's even worse then the formal dresses her parents convince her to wear when they drag her to their formal parties. I can hear her asking, 'when can i take this thing off?'
